Mr. Kaleb Chamberlin
MHS Band Director, SCM Fine Arts Facilitator
Mr. Chamberlin is a graduate of Valparaiso University where he earned his bachelors degree in music education. He is primarily a percussionist, but enjoys teaching and collecting all band instruments. When he is not teaching band, Mr. C enjoys performing with his band Lakebed, spending time with his wife Emily, and playing disc golf.
In 2021, Mr. Chamberlin was named the Secondary Teacher of the Year for Mishawaka Schools. In 2023, he received the Quinlan & Fabish Outstanding Music Educator Award for Michiana.
Mr. Chamberlin directs the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Pep Band. He also serves as the Fine Arts Facilitator for the school district.

Mr. Bart Roberts
JYMS Band Director, MHS Assistant Band Director
Bart Roberts is a graduate of Ball State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Masters of Music in Wind Band Conducting and Trombone. His primary instrument is Trombone but also specializes in Euphonium and Tuba. Prior to coming to Mishawaka Mr. Roberts taught in the South Bend Schools, Klein ISD in Houston, Texas, Ball State University, and Western Wayne Schools.
As an active performer Mr. Roberts is a member of the Truth in Jazz Big Band in Elkhart. He is an active adjudicator, clinician, and guest artist throughout the Midwest and Texas. In addition to his teaching commitments he maintains an active private low brass studio in the South Bend/Elkhart area.
Mr. Roberts and his wife Jennifer have two daughters Eleanor and Avery. In his free time you can find Mr. Roberts playing with his girls, spending time with his family, running, cycling, and fly fishing wherever he can.
Mr. Roberts directs the John Young Middle School Beginning and Advanced Bands. He also assists Mr. Chamberlin with the MHS Marching Band.
